Plain, soft, thick, midweight cotton fabric produced in linen weave. Has a closer sett in the warp than in the weft, and in the latter coarser yarns are sometimes used to create a fine transverse ribbing. Used for men's shirts, ladies' blouses, underwear and dresses.
