Original style for the hand-printing of reserves on woven fabric by means of wooden blocks. The printed reserve - in most cases chemical - provides a protection during the subsequent dyeing and indigo patterning of areas of fabric, producing an end-effect of a white pattern on a dark-blue (indigo) background.
